Hi, my name is Jenny Stolka.  I have been with the VCC since November 2008.  I previously worked for the coalition from 2004-2005 and I am very excited to be back.  During my time away from the VCC, I worked for Parent Share and Support, serving families in Fayette County.  I had the privilege of meeting many people in the area and also learned a great deal about our county. 

I currently live in Wadena with my husband Brian and our two boys.  Brian has been a bricklayer for 19 years and is employed with Steve Moyle Masonry.  Grant is in 1st grade at Valley and Drew (14 months) is our newest member of the family.  Then there is Jack, our yellow lab.  Our boys keep us very busy, but when there is time, we do love spending time with family and friends.

I am very excited to be back working in the Valley and look forward to the wonderful things that we need to accomplish through the coalition.

Hi, my name is Cassie Peterson and I have been employed by the VCC since August 2006 as the Mentoring Coordinator and Prevention Specialist. 

Before coming to the VCC, I was serving with AmeriCorps NCCC, which is a national service organization.  I was based out of Washington D.C., but had the opportunity to travel to may places including Philadelphia, Cleveland, New Orleans, and Mississippi.   I graduated from Luther College with my Bachelors of Arts in Social Work in December 2004.  I graduated from Valley in 2000. 

I currently live in Clermont with my husband Kristopher!  Kris is a special needs aide and bus driver for the Valley Community School District.  We enjoy spending time with our dog Newman, and working on projects around the house!.  I have a younger sister, Stephanie, who lives in LaCrescent, Minnesota.  My mom is remarried and lives in Clermont, and my dad lives in Elgin. I have an older stepbrother, Jason, and an older stepsister, Krista. 

I am very excited to be back living and working in the Valley.  I have a huge love for and commitment to the Valley Community Coalition, and this area.  I hope to do all I can to help this organization be a success!!

Hi my name is Abbie Peterson I am the newest addition to the Valley Community Coalition, as the administrative assistant. I graduated from Upper Iowa University with my Bachelors of Arts in Business Administration in December 2007. 

I graduated from Valley Community High School in 2004. I currently live in Elgin and enjoy walking to work. I love to read, learn new things, and bake. I also like to spend my time with family and friends.   

I am excited about working for the VCC and with the community to further our mission.
